Action Self-Defence
WHAT IS ACTION?
ACTION is a self-defense program given by and for women, created in 1984 with the aim of providing participants with concrete and effective verbal and physical tools to protect themselves, set their limits and stop various situations of aggression. We believe that every woman has the right to live free from violence and discrimination.
Most of our ACTION courses are offered in women’s centers and other community organizations and are intended primarily for the users of these centers. We do not promote them here since the registration for these activities is taken care of by the organizations where they will take place.
However, four times a year, we offer courses that are open to all women, over two days (usually two consecutive Saturdays). These will be advertised here as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and registration is directly with us, either here or by writing or calling us. The cost is $75 for both days, and attendance on the first day is required to participate in the second.
If you wish to organize a course for women or teenaged girls, call us at 514 284-1212 or write at actioncpam@gmail.com or centre@cpamapc.org
