Three 45-minute sessions with groups of 15 students or less.

Mobilization, power to act, values motivating our actions.

STRATEGY
- Broaden and deepen their recognition of aggression.
- Broaden their perception of the role that each can play in an assault.
- Evaluate their actions and decisions, and their impact on their lives and those of others.
- Think about their power and how to use it to prevent assault.
FORMAT
90-minute workshop offered over two periods.
AGE GROUP
Grades 5 and 6 for student who have already received CAP.
PEDAGOGY
Discussions, role plays, simulations and readings.
Details
The Montreal Assault Prevention Centre set up a program in 2002 to meet a need expressed by schools.
The teacher stays in the classroom during the workshop.
It is inspired by the same philosophy of “empowerment”. Based on what CAP-ESPACE has learned, the workshop looks at other social situations and other places where children can suffer or commit certain forms of aggression.
